Hello world!
It’s been a while since my last post. A lot of life altering events popped out of nowhere, but in the end it’s part of the experience. I plan to continue the Hall of Faith series starting this Sunday, but I want to make this post for my friends, family, and my church brothers and sisters.
Life is amazing. The life we live is truly a gift from God. The experiences we go through day by day are absolutely amazing. But I feel that our hearts harden to it. We are desensitized to our surroundings. I know I am. When trouble comes, that’s when we wake up…but sometimes we don’t want to wake up. If you were offered the red pill or the blue pill, which would you take?
Every day that we live on this planet, we have this choice. We can choose to live or die whenever we please. Which are you choosing?
These are just some emotions that run through my mind sometimes. But that’s also the beauty of God. He gives us something that we cannot obtain from the world. He gives us hope of something better.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Our life is beautiful. Let’s choose to live…and to live for Christ. To live is Christ and to die is gain. Without God none of it would be possible.
With love,
Ayodeji Alaketu
P.S. RIP Kavi. You will be missed, but I’ll strive better to live by your example!
