Good Day World!

Let’s start today’s blog with some updates in my life. I finished Step 2 CS with CK just around the corner. I’ve been doing better spiritually as well. There are things I can (and will) improve on, such as going to God in the first thing in the morning, being more spiritually minded during the day, and going out of my way each day to meet someone I don’t really know. But God has been showing himself much more since my last post. Shouts out to my church, The Path Church! Without God using them in my life, this relationship I am building with my Father would have never matured from where it previously was. Also, I’m going to be writing less, hitting major points and pointing to scripture more. I want to let God speak through me and not clutter the material with a lot of what I think!!!

Genesis 50:22-26

Joseph stayed in Egypt, along with all his father’s family. He lived a hundred and ten years and saw the third generation of Ephraim’s children. Also, the children of Makir son of Manasseh were placed at birth on Joseph’s knees. Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die. But God will surely come to your aid and take you up out of this land to the land he promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” And Joseph made the Israelites swear an oath and said, “God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up from this place.” So, Joseph died at the age of a hundred and ten. And after they embalmed him, he was placed in a coffin in Egypt.

It is so amazing to see the faith of the people studied in this series at the end of their life. And again, we see it with Joseph. Although he knows he is about to die, he didn’t just believe in what God was going to do, he knew that God was going to take him and his people out of Egypt. And just like his father Jacob, he did not want his body to rest in Egypt.

Both Joseph and his father Jacob was held righteous at the end of their lives. This shows me that God is truly watching us at all times, from what we do now till what we do in the end. So, let’s continue to have faith that God will do what he promises, even after we are gone!
