Hall of Faith: Continued
Key: Blue=Bible
Hebrews 11:32-34
And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword;whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.
Good Morning World!
I would first like to wish for an amazing year in 2019! Whether you are reading this in January of 2019 or September of 2022, I hope 2019 was a year of celebration. I have many things to celebrate now even though it is only January 7th. A friend of mine got married, another friend of mine is starting his journey in the military, and a bunch of my fellow classmates are completing their interview trails. As for me, I had received many good news that God has blessed me with, and as long as I am with him, I will continue receiving good news.
This post is to emphasize the next upcoming series of the Hall of Faith. I would like to tackle Gideon, Barak, Samson and Kephtah, and David and Samuel, and eventually all of the prophets. I believe that God has ordered me to complete this series, which started back in 2017, so the only thing left to do is complete it.
I hope all of us can be encouraged in the examples God has left for us in the Bible. In the verse mentioned above, “By faith people conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword;whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.” That same faith is the faith we all need to strive for. God will never fail us or let us down. He has put me through so much just to remind me that I need to rely on him and put all my trust in him. And I thank the Lord for the love he has given me. I am a firm believer of God and I know he is real. But that was not just due to my knowledge of the Bible or the multiple signs I requested…it is due to the hardships and challenges he has brought me through…and still bringing me. I pray I can hold and build up my relationship with God each day no matter the cost!
Thanks for reading!
With love,
Ayodeji Alaketu
