What I HATE most in this world!

Now there are a lot of bad things in our world right? It is February 17, 2016, several hours ago, Turkey was hit with a terrorist attack that killed about 30 people and injured about 60. I will be sure to pray for those people before I go to sleep. At the same time, the US candidates running for presidency is looking crazy. It honestly sounds like a a sports games, “Whose leading the polls” He said this, and He said that…As I like to call it, WAHALA!

But What I HATE most in this world? When people misuse the word of God. That is what I hate. I feel when people use the word of God properly, AMAZING things happen. So the way I see it, as a Christian, I am not using the word of God properly. But I HATE when people use the word of God wrong. The best example is with Homosexual Marriage. I believe that marriage is between a man and a women. I believe that homosexuality is a sin. But when people quote scripture about how horrible homosexuality is, when “technically”:  idolizing things over god (studying, eating, watching tv, playing games, instead of reading your bible), using the lord’s name in vain, not going to church, dishonoring your parents, cursing people out, watching pornography (or cheating on mate), stealing, lying, being jealous, are “technically”  MUCH WORST. I mean what I listed, does it sound familiar?

It’s the 10 Commandments. You don’t need to study the Bible to know these. But I don’t see homosexuality on there. Do you? Go google it. If we can go so far to prevent homosexuality but we can’t have laws for the basic of rules…we are dishonoring God.

I believe that if you will go protest against homosexuality with the pretense of the Bible, you better be following God wholeheartedly yourself.

Matthew 7:3-5

Jesus says, “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Is it wrong to judge those who are sinning? NO. Is it wrong if your sinning? YES. When we try to teach other things, and we don’t even practice it, we are hypocrites. Jesus says this, it comes out of our LORD’s Mouth. I mean look at what happened. It makes sense…. I’m not gonna explain everything but in conclusion.

I JUST HATE WHEN PEOPLE USE SCRIPTURE TO PUSH THEIR OWN AGENDA. There is only one agenda we must push. And that is to follow our lord Jesus Christ

Matthew 28:19-20

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

That is our mission. To make more disciples. But we must learn to obey everything Jesus has commanded us. And as he says here, he is with us. So I’d like to end with a command.

Get to know Jesus Christ. He is more than you think. He is God. But even more he is God who loves us  to the point of sacrificing his own life to us. He died for you, so that you can be connected with God. And THAT is more important than anything this horrible world can offer.

Mark 8:36

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?

  1. Hey Ayodeji! What’s up! I totally agree, I think that people tend to misuse the word of God to twist it in their favor. It seems that people have shifted to focus most of their attention to the issue of homosexuality while other things have been pushed under the rug. It’s great that you pointed that out!

    1. Thanks CDMGarard, it’s something that just bugs me when I see this happening all around the world. I also noticed on your blog, your a future primary physician. I’m also currently in medical school so I just though that was cool.
I think it is important to use our “abilities” as future physicians to correct this world we live in.
